The Hervey Bay Historical Village and Museum has been operated by volunteers since 1974.

It is easy to spend hours browsing the village which consists of 21 buildings which were relocated to the village and have a long local history.

The Museum also hosts demonstrations of life in the “old” days, and the buildings all contain displays relevant to the history of that building.

See more about this wonderful multiple award winning Museum on the internet or simply visit the museum for a real treat.

The Museum is located at 13 Zephyr St, Scarness and is open on Friday and Saturdays (year round) from 1pm till 4:30pm and Sundays from 10:30am to 4:30pm.
